Add Office IntegrationThe Add module Add Office Web simplifies the management of documents in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Visio. The MS Office files are shown and edited embedded in Add - directly in your web browser. Viewing of documentsA document shown embedded in Add, in viewing mode, cannot be edited. It is possible to mark a section in order to copy it though. Editing documentsAdd Office Web uses the client software, which means that you need to be working on a computer with an MS Office installation. The documents are shown embedded in Add, but with MS Office tools and menus. You can open or drag-and-drop documents from your own computer to edit and save in Add. System demandsTo be able to edit the MS Office files, an ActiveX component needs to be installed the first time you use Add Office Web. This program is necessary in order to make the integration between the MS Office programs and the servers running the Add platform technically possible.
