Built for stability and future readiness
Add is built on a three layer architecture with a relational database in Microsoft SQL Server, an object oriented business layer, and an HTML based presentation layer. The platform uses .NET technology and is developed in T SQL, C#, and JavaScript. This provides both stability and long term future readiness. Add converts Microsoft Office files to HTML and PDF using solutions from Aspose Pty Ltd., and uses open source JavaScript alternatives for certain minor functions.
Flexible configuration
and secure access
Add relies on configuration rather than custom programming to meet the varying needs of our customers. All information in the platform and in each customer database is based on instances of configured entities, which creates a scalable and efficient structure. Users access Add through a web browser that communicates over HTTPS with the web server. The web server communicates with a tenant controller system that manages installed products and deployments, and instructs the web server on how to retrieve data from the application.

Use Add in multiple languages
Add includes built in multilingual support that makes it easy to work in the language that best fits your organization. System texts are available in 13 languages, and the platform also supports languages such as Russian, Arabic, and Chinese. You can translate both system texts and your own templates using clear guidelines, so everyone in the organization can work smoothly regardless of language. Multilingual support is an optional add on that Addsystems can enable for you at any time.

Add serves as the central starting point for your systems. With streamlined APIs and continuous data export in JSON format, you can easily build integrations and let information flow freely between Add and other business critical systems. Data export lets you export information from Add in JSON format for analysis in, for example, Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Power BI, with continuous updates via an access key.
Automated user management

Add provides fully automated user management that you control yourself and that combines high security with a smooth login experience. With multi factor authentication and Single Sign On, users gain secure access using their standard corporate credentials. The system verifies identities while never handling passwords internally. Authentication and authorization rely on SAML with support for solutions such as Azure MFA and Pointsharp.

Add automatically synchronizes users from your Active Directory. The system creates new accounts, updates existing ones and archives inactive users without manual handling.
