Adapted Internal Audit

We understand that every company is unique with its own needs and challenges. Therefore, it’s possible to customize Add Internal audit according to your preferences and requirements. Whether you want to integrate Add Internal audit as part of Add Management System or use it as a standalone solution, you get the tools to tailor internal audits in a way that perfectly suits your business.

How an internal audit is done in Add

You start the internal audit by creating a new audit directly from the start page in Add. There you specify the responsible internal auditor and any assistants, and select the start and end dates for the audit. Next, you write the purpose and focus of the audit, and you link relevant ISO standard requirements, such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, to the audit areas that you are going to audit, for example management processes within ISO 9001. You can similarly select one or more processes that you are going to evaluate or an organizational unit.

The internal auditor can continuously follow the whole process from the creation of the deviation, if the action is carried out correctly to the approval of the action. The auditor can create deviations and assign responsibility to relevant people within the organization. The discrepancy is then added as a task to their to-do list in Add, and they receive an email regarding the task. The person responsible for the deviation can then create actions, and assign the responsibility to another person. It is also possible to create a flow where you as an internal auditor are responsible for creating and correcting the deviations.

If there are ongoing discrepancies, the audit will be marked as closed, but processing will continue until all actions are completed and the audit is fully closed.

Define optional audit areas to facilitate the creation process

An audit area refers to a specified part of the organization’s operations or processes that is examined according to given standards. It is a flexible method where internal auditors can define the areas they want to investigate by combining various standard requirements and organizational units. For example, an audit area could be requirement element 4.2 in ISO 14000, 8.2 in ISO 9000, and organizational unit: management. Auditors create their own unique audit areas in the control panel, which can be saved and reused as needed.

Work pages give you a clear overview of the status of your audits

You get a clear overview of your internal audits on your work page, where you can create new audits and see the status of your audits. You can view your ongoing and completed audits as well as the progress of each deviation and action. Work pages are a simple tool that helps you manage your audits.
