What Add Internal audit does for you
Clear statistics and overview
Through a scoring system, Add Internal audit provides a clear overview of the audit process over time, aiding both internal and external auditors in tracking the audit.
Effective division of responsibilities
Clear responsibility allocation saves time as employees know exactly what they are responsible for. The system monitors responsibility areas, allowing you to focus on addressing any potential problem areas.
Add Internal audit allows you to closely follow the entire audit process, from anomaly detection to action implementation and conclusion of the audit. This overview enables a quick response if crucial actions are not issued as planned.
Adapted Internal Audit
We understand that every company is unique with its own needs and challenges. Therefore, it’s possible to customize Add Internal audit according to your preferences and requirements. Whether you want to integrate Add Internal audit as part of Add Management System or use it as a standalone solution, you get the tools to tailor internal audits in a way that perfectly suits your business.
How an internal audit is done in Add
You start the internal audit by creating a new audit directly from the start page in Add. There you specify the responsible internal auditor and any assistants, and select the start and end dates for the audit. Next, you write the purpose and focus of the audit, and you link relevant ISO standard requirements, such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, to the audit areas that you are going to audit, for example management processes within ISO 9001. You can similarly select one or more processes that you are going to evaluate or an organizational unit.
The internal auditor can continuously follow the whole process from the creation of the deviation, if the action is carried out correctly to the approval of the action. The auditor can create deviations and assign responsibility to relevant people within the organization. The discrepancy is then added as a task to their to-do list in Add, and they receive an email regarding the task. The person responsible for the deviation can then create actions, and assign the responsibility to another person. It is also possible to create a flow where you as an internal auditor are responsible for creating and correcting the deviations.
If there are ongoing discrepancies, the audit will be marked as closed, but processing will continue until all actions are completed and the audit is fully closed.
Questionnaire with answer options
It is possible to add custom questionnaires directly in the audit to facilitate the workflow. You define the questions yourself and add response options, such as yes, no, or partially. You can customize the questions based on the categories or areas in the organization that you are going to interview, and you can create as many forms as you want.

Distribute responsibility for created deviations and actions
As an internal auditor, you can easily assign responsibility for deviations and actions to specific people within the organization. You can have one employee responsible for handling the deviation and another for fixing it. This simplifies your work because the system shows you the status of the deviation and its action without you having to seek information from the employees.
Define optional audit areas to facilitate the creation process
An audit area refers to a specified part of the organization’s operations or processes that is examined according to given standards. It is a flexible method where internal auditors can define the areas they want to investigate by combining various standard requirements and organizational units. For example, an audit area could be requirement element 4.2 in ISO 14000, 8.2 in ISO 9000, and organizational unit: management. Auditors create their own unique audit areas in the control panel, which can be saved and reused as needed.
Work pages give you a clear overview of the status of your audits
You get a clear overview of your internal audits on your work page, where you can create new audits and see the status of your audits. You can view your ongoing and completed audits as well as the progress of each deviation and action. Work pages are a simple tool that helps you manage your audits.
Adjust your settings in the Control Panel
On the homepage, you have direct access to your control panel. Here, you can customize all settings for your audits, including the selection of requirements and standards, categories, and the content of email notifications. You can also manage audit areas, deviations, and create custom questionnaires.
Receive reminders through email notifications
Add sends automatic reminders for deviations and actions that are not completed on time. You can also set up advance warnings before the due date. The recipient receives email reminders, and new tasks are added directly to their homepage. This way, no important details are overlooked in the system
Facilitate the work with clear overviews
It should be easy to manipulate and analyze all information to see how the work is progressing. In our overviews, you can therefore group and sort both the internal audits and individual deviations. In an internal audit, you can also clearly see which deviations with actions have been created, along with their status and classification
We have previously used Excel for Complaints/Deviation/Complaints management. By “automating” the process, the handling becomes more efficient. Key aspects when choosing Add were the system’s flexibility and Addsystems’ willingness and ability to provide support.
